Pros: Room was clean, free water, Bliss bath products, decent size, convenient to public transportation
Cons: There's a bar/lounge on the roof, so there were a lot of non hotel guests coming in and out - it made the lobby pretty busy and loud. No big deal, but it's not a hotel with a business vibe. Room was quiet though.
Pros: Hard to say
Cons: Location, smell, carpet
Pros: Charming design & space. Staff was very friendly, even refusing to charge me for a couple of muffins because he just cashed out. That simple & kind gesture won a repeat customer. Not sure if they advertise this, but there is indeed valet parking
Cons: The booming audio from the rooftop bar is a little loud on the top floors, but not a dealbreaker.
Pros: Bright cheery and clean
Cons: The hotel staff was great. The rooftop restaurant staff were not great and the food was just ok
Pros: The location works perfect for me. In Brooklyn. Close to the subway. I can take the A or F train to Manhattan, the G to Greenpoint. Barclay Center just blocks away. The room is bright and airy. And 24-hour treadmill is appreciated.
Cons: I have been staying at this particular hotel (the Aloft in Brooklyn) for four years now. The location and service of the well-trained staff are great. But the decor of the room and lobby are getting a bit frayed and tired-looking.
Pros: Staff was nice Hotel placed in ideal situation Close to shopping
