Pros: Very nice!! Hotel was very clean and felt extremely safe! The on-site spa was an extra perk. The hotel also had well maintained and Beautiful grounds.
Cons: I had read that the on-site grill was open until 1:00am. Was disappointed that it was closed around 12:00am.
Pros: Exterior very quaint and charming
Cons: Property is dire need of a renovation. Carpet had many pee stains, mold in the shower and we were pleasantly surprised by a piece of pizza behind the chair when we Turpin the floor lamp. I am a Hilton Honors member and was highly disappointed.
Pros: Convenient for where I was staying. Near lists of restaurants
Cons: No microwave or fridge
Pros: I liked the historical features.
Cons: It was not in the 4 star category. It was definitely not comparable to the other hotels listed in the deal.
Pros: The grounds are very nice. We loved the garden, pond and playground. Room service was really good - everyone enjoyed dinner. The security guard was really helpful and friendly
Cons: There is a definite mold problem on the ground floor. It was really musty and my mother had respiratory issues. Also, the mattress in our room was very old and uncomfortable - definitely time for replacement.
Pros: Nice quiet rooms
Pros: Staff was wonderful the friendliest they could be .location is not very close to va beach.Great pool spa are great. The rooms are clean but out dated
Cons: The place where we resided could use an update I felt like I was staying at an old folks home
Pros: -The courtyard was very beautiful and well maintained -The lake was nice to look at -The shower was clean and spacious -The room was a decent size, which enabled me and the other guest to move around comfortably. -Having two sink areas was a major plu
Cons: -The indoor pool was very dirty (large clumps of hair, misc. bits in the pool and outside of pool) -Hot tub was too small and also dirty
Pros: The grounds were well kept, but I'm not sleeping outside.
Cons: The place is a dump, like seriously. The room was so small and just awful. The mattress was old and lumpy. Dirt and dust in front of the headboard, dirty look and feel to bathroom, combined with an old TV. The hallways are creepy and dark.
Pros: The house keeper was terrible. They took all towels but didnt leave any new towels. After I took shower, I couldn''t find any towels. They also failed to replace everything else that they are supposed to replace, including coffee and water.
Cons: House keeping.
Pros: The landscaping and location is what I like the most
Cons: Someone I guess from house keeping walked in my room hours before check out
Pros: Beautiful gardens, coffee bar, historic
Cons: No included breakfast, didn''t give us the rollaway bed we requested
Pros: I loved the bed. The bed was very comfortable and the pool area was great!!
Pros: Comfortable beds, not overcrowded during summer season (university hotel so most students gone), nice dining.
Cons: Checkin and check out very slow. Staff struggled to find reservations, find name at checkout, etc.
Cons: Had to change rooms due to molded food left under the dresser. The next room had roaches..we were told no other rooms were available.. Not what I expected at all..very disappointed
Pros: Quaint quiet and historic. 3rd floor room window view of pool and lake is unique and peaceful.
Cons: Cannot be changed but parking is not close to the room -- but exercise is good for the soul!
